Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark and Ray Alley with Hand Feeding the Tarpons

Join us for an fun filled aquatic adventure exploring Hol Chan Marine Reserve also known as Little Channel, it is one of Belize’s most beautiful exotic snorkeling and dive site located just an hour away from the cruise port.

This is one of the best stops to snorkel since it’s the least crowded by travelers/visitors. Our Tour Starts at the Belize Cruise Port, after meeting and greeting and issuing of Gears, We head out on our adventure. The first part of this journey will be about 40 minutes over to the Island of Caye caulker, the second largest commercial Island in Belize. On arrival at Caye Caulker, you will be able to use the rest room and pre-order lunch, after this is done we will then be briefing off on the Equipment use along with the rules and regulation of the marine park.

Once this is done we then continue the journey to the Hol Chan Channel which will be a 10 Minute Boat ride, after the boat is properly secured, it is time to get geared up for the adventure. The tour is fully guided, you will have one guide to every 8 guest. Both swimmers and non-swimmers can participate in the tour, everyone is required to wear a life vest, here you will be able to see a great variety of fishes and Corals, and if we are lucky enough we will be able to spot a couple Turtles as well as Murray Eels. After the Hol Chan we will then head over to the Shark and Ray Alley where you will have the chance to swim and snorkeling with Southern Sting Rays and Nurse Sharks, this stop will last for approximately 40 to 45 minutes.

After the Snorkeling we will then Head back to Caye Caulker Island for lunch, beach break and shopping time, this will last for one hour before heading back to the cruise port. Lastly, we will make a special stop off to Hand Feed our protected friends the tarpons for 10 to 15 minutes. They love to meet and greet or guests, showing off their natural talents.
