Sea Fishing
Whether you’re a novice or an expert angler, Belize offers a variety of exhilarating places to fish. From Bacalar Chico in the north to Punta Icacos Lagoon in the South it’s all up to you to decide. Should luck allow, your fun tour might include bumping into a Permit, tarpon, bonefish or Snook, or you could even pull off the coveted and ultra -elusive Grand Slam! Near the Barrier Reef, spend an hour or day fishing for grouper, barracuda or snapper. If you are adventurous, troll ashore for big game fish like marlin, sail fish and kingfish.
Jungle Fishing
Explore the jungle first hand while journeying to a local lagoon. Hear the diverse sounds of different species of birds, or spot a coatimundi (Quash) or other wildlife. It’s all on the way to experience the adventure locals enjoy every day to catch the tarpons, tilapia and other fishes that are included in our everyday dishes. As you paddle out in a canoe, you might be lucky to see wildlife alongside the lagoon. From deer to crocodiles it’s a must see to believe for the adventurous.
