Our Altun Ha and Zip Lining Adventures will offer just this for you. Starting with a Belize City tour, here you will be traveling through the principle streets of the old capital, passing several historical buildings and monuments, and learning about the pass of this once striving mahogany settlement. After leaving the city, we will be traversing through the country side, learning about the culture and people of Belize. Upon Arriving at the Ancient Mayan City, you will be walking through the same path amongst some of the Mayan mounds that have been partially excavated and restored by some of the locals and Dr. David Pendergast who did an extensive research from 1967 to 1974.

Here in this city buried inside the Sun God Temple, which stand 54 feet from the plaza floor was where the largest carved jade object in the Mayan World was found as you travel back in time with history, and feel the presence of an ancient civilization come alive; hike above some of its highest monumental structures where the elite families once occupied and enjoy a spiritual and panoramic view from above. Inhale the fresh air of the pristine green forest that surrounds you and soar with the spirits of the ancient Mayas that still preserves its pass. Your Guide will also be pointing out some of the local remedies of the rainforest used by the Mayans for medicinal purposes.

Altun Ha is a City of over 500 mounds with approximately 15 has been excavated; the city is surrounded by the thick broad leave forest which holds the secret of the Mayan civilization.

After this great journey in time we will then head over to the local Diner for an authentic Belizean Dish, after which we will be continuing our adventure unto the Zip Lining Park.  Now we are ready for the great Adventure down the Zip lining boulevard. The Zip Lining will be done at the Zip Riders at the Howling Hills which is the biggest Ariel trek site in West and North of Belize. It consist of ten to twelve platforms and seven to eight runs, with the longest run well over thirteen-hundred feet and travels through the rain forest and over the Cave Branch River, the highest elevated area is over two-hundred feet, there will be two cables on each zip a running cable and a safety cable, each cable holds up to 3000 pounds, there will be seven straps on your harness, each could hold 600 pounds. Only one person will be on the Line while zipping unless a child will like an adult to accompany him or her, there will be a guide ( a Sender and a Receiver) on each platform to ensure safety and guidance of do’s and don’ts. All of your Equipment’s are provided for you. Now you gear up for the ride of your life zipping through the rain forest of Belize. Screamers are welcome on this adventure. After these two great adventures we will then head back to the start of our tour to your cruise port or place of stay.
