Jungle Mountain Biking and Belize City Tour

This adventures starts off at the Belize Cruise port or your place of stay in Belize City. After meeting and Greeting you will be guided through the Old Capital of the Country, Belize City. Here you will be learning about the History and culture of Belize, while viewing some of its historical Buildings and land marks.

After leaving the City/Old Capital you will then be touring the country side of Belize along the Northern High way, passing the Belize Old River and several rural communities. This will then take us unto the Old Northern High Way for another 15 minutes where we will be starting the Mountain Biking Trails through the pristine Mayan jungles of Belize.

These trails were once used by the Old mahogany log Cutter in the 17th and 18th century, and from 200 BC to 1200 AD these Jungles where occupied by the Ancient Mayan people, while riding you will pass several abandon Mounds and broken down temples. You will hear and see tons of birds and occasionally you could spot (if you’re lucky) an ocelot, Grey Fox, Coutamundi, Howler Monkey, or the Toucan our National Birds. Along the Way you will be stopping and learning about several of Belize Medicinal Plants. The Biking Ride will last for 45 minutes to an hour, after which we will be having Lunch (a local Dish) before heading back to the meeting / pick up location.
This tour can be combine with the Altun Ha Temples in which you will be riding through the Jungle to the Mayan Temples.
